About the Author

Dr. John Schinnerer is an expert in positive psychology, emotional mastery, and peak performance. In 2011, he was one of just three emotion experts — alongside Paul Ekman and Dacher Keltner — to consult on Pixar’s Academy Award-winning film Inside Out.

He has spent years helping executives, leaders, and high-performing individuals reduce anger, anxiety, and stress while increasing emotional intelligence, happiness, and success. Dr. John earned his Ph.D. in educational psychology from UC Berkeley and has worked as an executive coach, speaker, and educator for over 16 years.
