About the Author: Dr. John Schinnerer is an expert in positive psychology and emotions. In December of 2011, John was one of 3 emotion experts (along with Paul Ekman and Dacher Keltner) to consult on Pixar's Academy Award-winning movie, Inside Out, in which the main characters are emotions. Dr. John was recently featured in the upcoming documentary, Skewed, by Paola Bossola, about the negative impact of violence in the media. Much of his time is spent as an executive coach teaching high net worth individuals the latest ways to turn down the volume on anger, anxiety and stress and ways to take their performance to the next level. He graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a Ph.D. in educational psychology. He has been an executive, speaker and coach for over 16 years.
